Having always loved photography, I searched high and low to find a job that would bring me into the field. I applied all over while living abroad, attempting to secure a position before returning home but I had no luck. When my plane touched down on American soil on my return, my phone lit up with messages from the past few months. One in particular was a voicemail calling me back about a position to assist a photographer in New York City. That was Peter Hurley.

Having no clue what a SHABANG! was or even how headshots differed from portraits, I took the job and I sat in on Intensives, helped out on shoots, and everything in between. Working with him introduced me to a whole new world. I can spot a Peter Hurley shot a mile away - now it's time to create my own!
