Hi Everyone!!

My name is Vivian Frerichs and I am a headshot photographer in Orange County, California.

I photograph headshots for working actors, portraits for business people, and private theater events in Los Angeles.

When it comes to shooting headshots for actors, I know what it’s like to walk in the shoes of an actor because I've been an actor myself and a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild).

When I photograph theater events in Los Angeles, I often have the opportunity to chat with some of the casting directors who attend these events.

I've studied what casting directors are looking for in headshots and what makes an actor's headshot standout.

That insider knowledge, along with what I've learned from Peter Hurley's coaching, allows me to craft a headshot for an actor that will increase the number of auditions they get called in for.

Photographing portraits for professionals is also all about getting the right expression to convey the right message to the viewer.

Through coaching and direction, these clients begin to feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera. That confidence comes through in their photograph.

During my photo sessions I give constant direction and immediate feedback. We review images throughout the session on a large 46 inch flat screen TV in my studio. The final result is a photograph that gets results for that client.
