I started my interest in taking photos in 1996. I owned my first digital camera, the Sony DSC-F717 (which I still have). As I started taking photos, I originally thought it was the camera that made the photographer, so I had a number of upgrades before I realized that this was not true. I owned a Sony A100, then upgraded to a Sony A380. My love for camera models switched to Canon from Sony, and I purchased a Canon T1i, and got introduced to media cards, after dealing with the Sony Memory Stick. I quickly learned that camera, but got bored because I wanted more. I upgraded to the Canon 60D, and started my first paid gig for a children's birthday party. I still thought the camera made the photographer, so my quest was to obtain a "high priced" camera, but first I needed to take some photography course. I took several courses in Queensborough Community College (QCC), where I finally found out that the camera doesn't make the photographer, and it was proofed to me by my instructor, Jason Ano. I was able to purchase my lasted camera, a Canon 5D, Mark ll. I then took a pro-bono assignment with a company called, "GrafittiBottoms", who specialized in fashion photography. As I gained experience, I moved on to the studio, under "Darkframes" who specialized in portrait and head shots. i now come to you, Peter Hurley, to learn from the best so I can follow in your footsteps. This is just the beginning!!!
