Servicing the Creative Industry for More Than Three Decades
II have always had a love affair with cameras!

From my earliest days I remember being infatuated with the way they looked, and I wanted one!

My first camera was a Polaroid. Do you remember Evil Kenevil? He would jump over 15 buses or a river or canyon on a motorcycle. As kids we would imitate his stunts on our bicycles and of coarse do “polaroids”!

The first real notion that photography would be more than just a hobby came to me in high school. One of my teachers, George Romasco, who was my mentor, asked if I would be interested in photographing football games and events at school. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into, but when I pulled my first photo from the film developing tray, I was hooked.

After high school I attended Antonelli School of Photography. I began shooting for a catalog house and honed my commercial product shot skills. In 1985 digital photography was not available, and I became a “God” of sorts since I could shoot amazing images and develop film. I was known as the guy who was a technical wizard.

During the late 80’s and early 90’s, it was fashionable for corporations to hire a photographer to be a fly-on-the-wall and mesh in the corporate environment. I would photograph meetings, workspaces, events, you name it. It was creative and financially rewarding. I received recognition from many peers, including Doug Menuez, who was Steve Jobs’ personal photographer.

One day I was introduced to the world of auto racing. I had been known as the “King of Reflective Objects.” I had the skills to create strategic reflective art in my photos. This was not possible at that time in photoshop. Penske Racing hired me, and then I was literally off to the races shooting for Racer Magazine and other industry publications worldwide. During this period, I would shoot headshots at professional racer drivers’ homes. The legendary Mario Andretti and his wife Dee Ann loved the work I created for them, and they stayed in touch for many years.

Today I have won photography awards from the Art Directors club of Philadelphia and recently completed photos for a story in Philadelphia magazine about Lieutenant Governor of PA, John Fetterman.

Over the years my love affair with cameras has blessed me with the opportunity to meet and photograph many extraordinary people. Needless to say, I know how to capture an extraordinary headshot. This is unquestionably my life’s work! Give me a call and let’s get started.
