Ellyce took her first photography class at 14, and it just never stopped after that. She has lived and worked across the US and the UK, and has finally settled in the beautiful and exciting Bay Area. She received her MFA from Edinburgh College of Art and has been working as a photographer full time since then.
She specializes in Headshot and Interior Photography which she likes for very different reasons. She loves headshot photography because it allows her to meet and speak to all sorts of people and to draw out the best from them. When shooting interiors, she sees in it the opportunity to create an environment, a destination or a stage on which different stories can unfold.
When she is not taking photos, which is pretty rare, Ellyce is usually haunting used bookstores and thrift shops, playing with her two Scottish Fold kittens, or out on a run while enjoying the Oakland scenery.
