Alessandra Galiani was born in Rome in 1962, of a family of theatre performers and art enthusiasts; it was therefore easy for her to breathe the air of beautiful things. She studied ballet and modern dance, and became a professional dancer and a dance teacher, currently she teaches to young girls in her own dance school. Alessandra approaches photography after the experience of painting, and she realize that her distinctive photography style is greatly influenced by her work as dance choreographer, framing the shots as scenes, as an art director checking on the theatre of reality. She likes to think the shooting of every photo as if she is actually moving her own body in a yet another moving scene. Even each opportunity to exhibits her works turns into a significant experience.
