Hi, I’m Adam, a London-based portrait and headshot photographer. I started getting serious about taking photos on a trip to Myanmar in 2015. I bought a new camera and it became the tool for me to be able to meet local people and share an interaction on a level that wouldn’t have otherwise occurred. So photography has always been about people for me and trying to convey something about that person and our interaction, through a single image or set of images is what gives me the biggest buzz and that’s why I carry on doing what I do!
I have worked with companies including Zadig & Voltaire, BBC, Columbia Records, Air Asia, Regus, Airbnb (Experiences) and Spaces and my photos and writing have been published in National Geographic Traveler, Tokyo Weekender, Lava Magazine , Crank Magazine and Edge Of Humanity Magazine.
My photo documentary, ‘Master, An Ainu Story’, has been shown at The ICP Museum, New York in May 2019 and The Brunei Gallery, London from Oct - Dec’18 and my most recent series ‘Living in Lockdown, London’ has been featured on the BBC and adapted into ‘Indoors’ - a story about the experiences of older people in lockdown in conjunction with Oxford University’s Wellcome centre for ethics and humanities, which can be seen here. I was also a Saatchi featured artist Nov’19.
