About Robert

I own Sanctuary Photography, having turned my passion from being just a small lad into a business.
Sadly my parents didn't share my love of chemistry were not amused when I turned the only bathroom in the house into a permanent darkroom.
The interest didn’t wear off and I studied multimedia, my tutors encouraged me to venture into print and I’ve never looked back. As soon as I left Uni I set up a giclee canvas printing business and developed my skills in the digital darkroom.
I became a family man and the birth of his daughter was the trigger that took me into portraiture. Like most proud Dads I got the camera out, but with the technical know-how I found the whole process of capturing the essence of a person on film compelling.
I’m something of a perfectionist, so I want my photography to be the best in the industry so I’m always pushing myself to keep developing both my personal style and technical ability.
My degree in Multimedia technology means I’m ahead of the field of photographic correction and manipulation. However, I’m told I have an eye for quality when it comes to capturing images. I like to make sure every customer gets the perfect picture – for them.
