About Robert

After three years of studying nights and weekends at The International Center of Photography in New York, Robert decided to leave his career of 12+ years as an advertising copywriter and creative director to pursue photography full time. Having trained with some of the best traditional portrait photographers in the world, such as Amy Arbus, Shelby Lee Adams and Andrea Modica, then going on to assist the likes of celebrity photographers Art Streiber and Andrew Eccles, Robert decided to apply his portraiture skills to the business of headshots. With the belief that anything worth doing is worth doing great, he then went to study with the world's best headshot photographer, Peter Hurley.
Robert feels like the luckiest guy there is, just to have the opportunity to take pictures every day. With some incredibly fun, inspiring and straight up awesome people at that!
When not practicing photography, Robert writes literary jibber-jabber that no one will ever see. He also loves Mixed Martial Arts, listening to records and a good glass of whiskey.
