I'm thinking of buying the full perpetual license Tara. It kinda makes sense with the discount it works out to about 2 years if you pay month to month & then you own the license.
Do you know how it works if you buy the license for this but then they come out with the updates? Anyone know if you can just buy updates? I'm not sure how all of that works, but I'm in line with what you're thinking, Doug.
Do you think they will offer the discount on a full perpetual license if you have already been on the monthly/yearly plan. My yearly plan comes due early January. Or is the discount just for new subscribers.

I personally found Capture One gave me way better results just from the improvement in RAW conversion, but you probably have tamed the issues which bugged me in your workflow. Capture One 12 implements a couple LR features like radial masks which were sorely missed. I strongly suggest you download the trial and give it a shot. There are lots of great tutorials published by Phase One on youtube and their web site to help you get started.
The new feature in 12 which I absolutely LOVE is Luminosity Masking. It allows you to define a mask based on a range of luminance and then you can do whatever things you normally do with masks. Its killer for evening out uneven background lighting for example.
Anyone else having an issue with RGB values not showing at top of screen in Capture One 12. Cannot get them to show which is a real pain.
Capture One have advised this is a known issue and working on fix, if you use that would hold off upgrading a real pain as I use that for getting white backgrounds quickly set.
This must be fixed because I am able to see the RGB values like before.
Hi Judy I have found out it is Fuji RAF files that the issue, they are working on fix for us Fuji shooters. There is a work around by selecting the film standard in base characteristics.
