Thank you, Peter! This has been a 2 year + journey for me, and it has been a wonderful one. I greatly appreciate your support and friendship.

I would like to thank my wingman Kathryn Costello - she's been a great help in the process! The wingman project is great and I hope everyone who wants to go associate has one. Gus Zimmerman has also been very helpful and supportive throughout this process. Many thanks to both of you!

To those who are in doubt if it's worth it to become an associate, I'd say that it's worth it in so many ways. One thing is the fact that I'm now associated with, in my opinion, the best headshot photographer in the world. That in itself is fun, great for business and inspirational.

For me, the actual process of getting here is invaluable. The result is one thing, the path to get there is even more important. Being hammered by "the man" in reviews, going back to adjust and improve, shooting, testing and failing, reviewing again and on and on.

After doing martial arts for a number of years, I'm tempted to compare this process to getting a black belt. The learning process is the point of the whole thing, not that black sash you tie around your waist. And that's when the real learning starts. You have the basics, now you can start doing the real work.

Great comments Kristoffer. I missed the review but am looking forward to checking it out when I can. I like the black belt metaphor - I don't do martial arts but I understand it's an aspirational level to achieve and it seems a suitable comparison to what you have achieved. Well done!
