We are a Portrait Studio located in Pembroke, ON and service all of the Ottawa Valley. My photography style is simple, relaxed and classic. Together, with my wife Colleen, we approach each image as a work of art, rather than simply a photograph.

My love for photography started in the 90’s. In my early 20’s I started out shooting Bodybuilders, Fitness and Swimsuit models. After having my first photograph published in an international magazine, I was hooked. My passion grew and I started learning more about composition, lighting and how to get the best out of my camera. It was at this time I started expanding to photographing weddings and families. I feel the experience gained during the film days has helped me to create beautiful images today in this DIGITAL ERA. It taught me to get a properly exposed image straight out of the camera. We use Photoshop as a tool to enhance and be creative, instead of fixing an improperly exposed photograph. As of 2018, we stopped shooting weddings to concentrate on our Portrait studio specializing in headshots, corporate photography, executive/environmental portraits, high end contemporary portraiture, fine art portraits, families and recently Real Estate Photography.

You can ask anyone to say “cheese” and snap a picture, but I look for that perfect photograph that captures the everyday looks. I sometimes employ extreme close-ups, creative cropping and a variety of special techniques to enhance the mood of the image.

I understand the importance of a relaxed atmosphere. Not only will you avoid the stress of a “posed” photo shoot, but by creating a fun experience you will be more at ease, which lets your personality shine. Our goal is to produce an authentic photo that speaks to the heart, one that you will treasure for a life time.
