To me, photography is like a dance. There's movement (yes, even with headshots). There's emotion (yes, again)! Even the click of the camera speaks to me like music.

I come from an old school background in photography. I worked in a film lab, learned from great photographers and great books, and practiced my heart away. I have so many good memories of taking my camera out on a whim and photographing things around me. There's something so poetic about it. I still do from time to time, which keeps me fresh, excited and on my toes!

My favorite things are my kids, husband, chocolate and collection of MST3K movies..you thought I was going to say my camera, didn't you ;)

I love the phrase "the eyes are the window to the soul", because to me that is the honest TRUTH!

On a serious note, I do love photography and making people smile - because there's nothing more satisfying to me as a photographer than making people happy and confident about their portraits.
