Jason was born in New Jersey in 1982. At the age of 23 he moved to the beautiful state of California and has not looked back.
His first introduction to photography was unintentional, but fateful. Upon entering the 7th grade he was given a camera for an art class and without any guidance was told to come back with some exciting photos. Being that the camera was not digital and with no LCD screen there was no indication that the photos were even coming out at all. Returning to the darkroom Jason came to find not one but all the photos seemed to be in focus and of the right exposure. He had one photo in the roll that gained him his first publication in the local newspaper and from that moment he was hooked and began to look at the world in a completely different way.
Beginning a videography career at the age of 17, it was a profession he continued for 6 years and his work could be seen on tv and a handful of surf and bodyboarding videos. It is not until this year he picked up the camera again and like clockwork, everything just fell into place. His passion and unparraeled strive for perfection is unmatched. Within the first month of returning back to his roots Jason landed two magazine publications.
Add to the list a modeling career that started 13 years ago and continues today. This has truly given him a lot of experience and not just in front of the camera. Once again a career that started unintentionally. His Grandmother, being a model herself, got him introduced to the business. He signed with FORD Models Inc. in New York City. Jason left the agency when he moved to California and now is a sports model represented by Sports and Lifestyle Unlimited. He has built a strong relationship with ASICS and has been featured in their catalogues, selected for sales presentation and also has been the face of the ASICS/ING New York City Marathon. Modeling has given Jason the ability to develop an understanding of all the aspects that make for a great shoot, which in turn leads to a great end result.
Jason has also been a Celebrity Personal Trainer for the last 10 years and accredits much of his success to the value of building meaningful relationships with his clientele.
