I am a 50 something photographer with a wife, two amazing boys and 2 schnauzers. I live in Fargo, YES I said Fargo, and love it. No, we don't say You Betcha, every other word.

I love photography. I love finding and making the light that brings out the best in the subject. I work to support my photography habit, but have started my own business called Kings Court Creative Photography, and am hoping to transition to doing photography full time.

I have been doing wildlife and scenic photography for years. I have done a few weddings and don't like the stress of having to get every shot or get sued. I do however love getting that shot that makes the couple very happy. I think that I would do well as a second photographer at a wedding.

I have also been doing some architectural and interior design photography and really like finding light that no one else can see. It's about perspective and capturing the beauty of the environment.

I have started doing some headshot photography and the lighting seems pretty basic once you get it figured out. The key is consistency of light and the art is getting the expression that captures the true nature of the subject. I can promise this. If I don't give you the best headshot you've ever had, it's free.

I have bought Peter's book, 'The Headshot' and am joining this group to see where it can take me. I don't know if there are others in the Fargo area, but think that I could be "The Guy" here if it works out.
