Pedro, founder of Nifty Backdrops and a seasoned portrait and headshot photographer, will guide you through creating depth, tone, and texture in your backdrop design. Along the way, he’ll share his insights into posing, portfolio building, and portrait theory — lessons drawn from years running a successful portrait studio.

In addition to his artistic expertise, Pedro played a key role in building the Headshot Crew, having worked as Peter Hurley’s personal assistant in New York and taught lighting at both HeadshotMania and HeadshotMania2. This pre-workshop day is your chance to learn from someone who understands both the technical and business sides of portraiture.
