🎉 Three Days of diving into the power of portraiture with Peter Hurley, Ivan Weiss, and Pedro Jorge during our 2nd Portrait Pop-Up in Portugal! 🙌

Join me, along with Ivan Weiss and Pedro Jorge, for a hands-on, high-energy, creativity-packed portrait experience unlike anything you’ve done before. You’ll have the option to paint your own backdrop on our pre-workshop day, shoot in the studio for two days, with an additional day on location. We'll be doing a deep dive into the mindset, techniques, and process behind next-level portraiture.

🎨 Optional Pre-Workshop Day: Backdrop Painting + Portrait Theory w/ Pedro Jorge

• Paint your own canvas backdrop! (supplies included) We did this last year and it was a big hit! Since we added an additional day to the workshop, the backdrop painting day is now an option for you, should you want to partake in this unique experience. 

• Pedro Jorge the brains behind Nifty Backdrops, will guide you through creating texture, tone, and color

• Pedro is not only a seasoned portrait and headshot photographer—he was also my personal assistant in New York and played a key role in helping me run the Headshot Crew for several years. He served as the lighting instructor at HeadshotMania2 and also taught at the inaugural HeadshotMania. In addition to his expertise in backdrop painting, Pedro brings valuable insight into portrait theory and portfolio development, sharing lessons from his experience running a successful portrait studio as part of this additional pre-workshop day in the studio. 

🌆 Day 1 or 2 Weather dependent: On-Location Environmental Portraiture w/ Peter Hurley

• Learn to adapt natural & available light while on location at an epic artist's studio

• Pose & direct real people in real spaces

• Bring out personality and story in environmental settings

💡 Day 3: In-Studio Portrait Mastery w/ Ivan Weiss

• Immerse yourself in the world of Ivan Weiss for a day. 

• Ivan will walk you through his go-to setups and vision for creating powerful portraits

• Shoot, shoot and more shooting. Get that new backdrop of yours going and work on Ivan's techninque

• Learn how to craft intentional, authentic portraits that stand out

🌆 Day 4: In-Studio/On Location w/ Peter Hurley

• Peter will roll through his tried and true portrait setups he uses to create his iconic work

• Wrap with image reviews, editing insights & final Q&A
