About Scott

Scott Daigle, once a “hobby” photographer in Somerset Massachusetts since the late 80’s and an avid camera collector, has been honing his skills for decades only to start Scott Daigle Photography/ DaiglePhoto.com in 2014. Having gotten his start in the Somerset High School dark room working with Canon film cameras, he’s kept up with the times transitioning to the latest equipment Canon has to offer. Scott has also kept up with training utilizing the best methods the internet has to offer along with working with other established local professional photographers.

Scott really enjoys the work he does to assist local non-profits and charities, especially the Swansea Animal Shelter, for which he’s been a part of since 2005. Scott previously was a chairman and treasurer of The Great American Jeep Rally, and assists Vested Interest in K9s, The BJ Voss Memorial 5K, the German Shepherd Rescue & Resource center, Wreaths Across America (Somerset), the Spirit of Somerset – Auto Show on the Bluff, and the Friends of Somerset Historic Preservation.

Scott’s photography work can be seen in Working Dog Magazine, Vested Interest in K9s calendar, and often in local newspapers and various websites. He was voted #1 photographer in the Wicked Local Readers Choice awards 2017. Scott is most proud of his wedding work and the many great reviews he’s received from happy couples he also now considers friends.

In 2018 Scott is looking forward to furthering his education in photography. He’s recently became a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Peter Hurley Headshot Crew. Scott still resides in Somerset with his wife Barbara, and Son Nicholas.
