I’ve enjoyed serving my community as a photographer over the past 14 years. I was fortunate to be the go to person for dancers and musicians locally. I started with my children’s high school programs in dance and band/marching band. That led to senior and family photos, and local professional and semi-professional shoots of musicians. Then to college graduation photos and engagements and weddings. After many years of mainly shooting outdoors, we finished our basement during the pandemic and I finally have my own studio space. I still do some of these types of shoots, but I’ve always wanted to be a pro at headshots and learn more formally about shooting in a studio with my lights and backdrops. I did get to meet Peter Hurley at a photographer’s convention in Atlanta 2 years ago, a few months before the pandemic. I would like to hone the headshot skills and improve everything I can in this area! I shoot in greater Atlanta and the Florida panhandle/30A. I recently have added an obsession with taking pictures of birds after participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count, sponsored by the Cornell Lab and the Audubon Society!
