My passion for photography started in the days of film in documenting my mother’s retirement event from the then known British Rail over 30 years ago.
Advancing as a young photographer, in the world of portraits mainly, with some weddings, with the tools of the trade for me a Canon 35mm camera and Mamiya medium format cameras

However, it was not until the days of digital around 2001 for me, that my career as a Photographer truly took off in the area of Event Photography mainly.

I was blessed; in being a very busy Event Photographer to the point I would boast that I was the No 1 Event Photographer in the country, due to my oversized personality and confidence

My passion was acknowledged by clients asking me to document Wedding Stories within the UK and abroad, Corporate Events, as well as various family events and Black Tie Events.

Being able to produce Images representing a person’s journey through life or a moment in time in a person life can bring so much joy when your clients receive their images or wedding albums for a wedding or a lavish anniversary event.

Probably the most enjoyable time was documenting the Birmingham City Council Legacy Project with the Jamaican and American athletic team, training for Gold for the 2012 London Olympic, under the umbrella group name The Image Makers Network.

Sadly with age and illness, I now have mobility issues; nevertheless, I am pleased my journey has not robbed me of my passion for Photography.

My health journey has forced me to reinvent myself again, with my new set of circumstances I have gone back to my humble roots, being a Portrait Photographer specializing in Headshots, Portraits and Lifestyle Photography.

It hurts not being able to do Event Photography and various types of Corporate Events, being able to climb ladders and move quickly and being on the floor in order not to miss out on a client's money shot, with an on-site printing Kodak machines setup and studio, supported with up to 6 plus staff, those days have truly gone for me, but not forgotten by many who still remember me

At this moment I have a well-equipped Garage Studio, which is more than capable to handle most business headshots since my ability to be mobile is limited.
