I'm Theresa Rousset, owner of Dream On Salon. I’m laid-back, low maintenance, into comfy clothes and shoes more than I ever thought I would be, and I focus primarily on headshot and portrait photography of single subjects.

Dream On Salon was conceived when I realized that the thing I like best in life is making women feel beautiful. With social media requiring a face with every name, it’s amazing the lift in confidence given when one changes to an awesome new profile picture!

In addition to photography, I have years of experience working in a five-star rated salon doing hair, and I’ve also freelanced as a hair and makeup artist for bridal, theatre, video, and other photographer's projects. I get to bring out the beauty I see in everyone, by controlling the process from touch-up or full hair and makeup, to final image. My eye for natural-looking hair and makeup, on camera, and under lights, plus the technical knowledge of photography puts me at a unique advantage.

With over 25 years of experience working with subjects on posing and expression, plus my down to earth attitude about how awkward most of us feel in front of the camera, I’ve got a well-rounded approach.

Everyone deserves to have a beautiful keepsake image of themselves; for themselves, their loved ones, and generations to come to look back on. Every age is beautiful. I LOVE capturing that best look you've given yourself in the mirror on a day where everything fell in to place nicely, and you felt good in your own skin. The camera, along with digital editing (to blast that cursed blemish or line away), is an amazing tool that can freeze a moment in time- where the lighting was perfect.

After a photo shoot with Dream On Salon, you'll never again wonder if that horrid picture someone posted of you was really the way people see you... you'll know it was bad lighting, a bad angle, etc.
