Reed's passion lies in the creation of meaningful, beautiful things. For over twenty years Reed found tremendous success in the world of software engineering. He created video games, specialized in artificial intelligence, and helped to create the tools used to build the software you are using right now. His technical abilities landed him a position at Microsoft where he continued to hone his technical skills. One day, while still employed at Microsoft, he bought a Mac out of curiosity and his life changed forever. He decided that he needed to work at Apple. It became imperative to understand how the engineers and designers at Apple created such beautiful and engaging products. He interviewed at Apple on a Thursday and was offered a position the next day.

While at Apple Reed discovered photography. He learned that his years of engineering and design experience translated very well to photography; the technical aspects of the craft came easily and the creative outlet it provided opened up an entirely new world. He found that he could make a connection with the people in front of the lens that he had never experienced before. He began to see the beauty in everything and developed a strong desire to capture it.

These days Reed can be found capturing "bold portraits", composites, and employing all aspects of digital retouching/manipulation using his favorite piece of software: Photoshop CS6. Reality is fine... but it is rarely enough.

When he doesn't have a camera plastered to his face Reed is probably out driving his Lotus too fast, kicking someone's ass in foosball, working on becoming an even bigger Apple fanboy, or asking his wife to model for him for the thousandth time.
