I have been taking pictures since I was 12 years old – my first camera was a Kodak Instamatic. An early achievement was earning photography merit badge leading to Eagle Scout, where together with my father I actually made a pin-hole camera, developed film in a make-shift dark room, and told my first photojournalist story before the age of 13.
I have been involved in supporting the Career Networking Ministry of McLean Bible Church. This ministry serves 250-300 people/week that are in career transition. I am providing professional headshots that enable job seekers to present themselves well in social media, such as LinkedIN or Facebook. I am also a photographer for HeartsApart, a non-profit serving the deploying military.
My full time pursuit has led me to 30 years of experience as a technical professional focused on serving national security interests in IT, aerospace, and defense. I have served in a widely diverse set of roles with a similarly diverse technology base ranging from computer science applications, to turbine engines to nuclear weapons. My full time occupation is as a certified PMP Project Manager serving the sustainment needs for Intelligence Community.
I am an eleven-year veteran of the Pan Mass Challenge, a 200 mile bike ride across Massachusetts, and has raised $104,000 for cancer research. I am also a recipient of the Abe Pollin Award for outstanding service to the community. I also have the honor of being called "Papa" to Zachary & Jacob, our adopted sons, and Husband to the love of my life, my wife Adrienne.
