Jake Stewart was born and raised in California. After graduating from high school, He attended Fresno City College with an emphasis on "who knows what?!" Bouncing between goals to become a business major, a writer and a videographer, he felt pretty clueless when neither really worked out. Well, video did, for a while anyway.
In 2010, four years after being at Fresno City, Jake moved to San Francisco to focus on perusing video creation. There he learned many techniques about lighting, composition, exposure and using whatever means necessary to tell a story. It was in his first photography course, that everything changed. Photography was "it," the new goal. It was more than a goal really, it became a passion. Over the past two years, Jake continues to take his camera out every day to capture something new, something worth mention and something to share with the world.
