Born and raised in Chicago, my earliest experiences and memories with cameras were not the greatests. As a matter of fact, I was terrified of, and fascinated by, cameras and photographs. When I was 1 year old my family moved to Mexico for 3 years. While in Mexico, familly members often sent us photographs. Since I hadn't seen the people in the photographs in a very long time, I believed they were somehow trapped in them. I never allowed anyone to take a picture of me and I always kept the ones I had close to me. As I grew older, I realized that it was emotion and memories and not people that are trapped in photos and my passion for photography started to blossom. Photography is a creative outlet that has always been a part of my life. I've shot still life, food, landscape, macro, you name it! Nothing brings back that excitement and amazement for me like a powerfull headshot. I picked up my first DSLR in December of 2010 and have not looked back since. It is my passion to create powerful images for all of the clients that walk into my studio.
